Cape Girardeau
The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWIs
* Joyce Wimberley, 22, of 608 West Third St., Scott City, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and impeding the flow of traffic.
* Brandon Hackworth, 22, of 1710 N. Sprigg St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving without headlights.
* Matthew Daniel Wiethop, 21, of 2419 Lakeshore Drive, Jackson, was issued a summons for suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain a single lane and no proof of insurance.
* Keith Robert Pecaut, 24, of 664 S. Spring St., was issued a summons for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and speeding.
Assault
* Timothy Dickison, 26, of 630 N. Fountain St., was arrested for second-degree domestic assault.
* Second-degree assault was reported at the 100 block of North Fountain Street.
Summons
* Tyrone Wade, 17, of 29 S. Sprigg St., was issued a summons for a noise violation.
Theft
* Theft was reported at 3439 William St.
* A Playstation was reported stolen at the 2800 block of Whitener Street.
* Gasoline was reported stolen from Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway.
* A checkbook was reported stolen at the 1800 block of North Main Street.
* Groceries were reported stolen from Schnuck's, 19 S. Kingshighway and an 11-year-old boy was referred to juvenile court.
* Checks were reported stolen from Cape Foot Clinic, 1345 N. Mount Auburn Road.
Property damage
* Property damage was reported at Kingshighway and Cape Rock Drive.
Miscellaneous
* A 30-year-old woman was taken into protective custody at the 300 block of North Sprigg Street.
