DWI

* A person was in custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, assaulting a law enforcement officer, driving without insurance and failing to drive in a single lane at Broadway and Spanish Street.

Arrests

* A 16-year-old was taken into custody on suspicion of possessing a controlled subtance.

* Candice L. Burdette, 19, of St. Louis was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for assault.

Summonses

* Travis E. Strobach, 24, of 807 N. Sprigg St., received a summons for prohibited acts.

* Zachary R. Stewart, 19, of St. Peters, Mo., received a summons for indecent exposure.

Assaults

* An assault and peace disturbance was reported at 1000 S. Silver Springs Road.

* A domestic assault was reported.

* A domestic assault was reported. A subject was in custody pending filling of formal charges.

* A domestic assault was reported. A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges.

Thefts

* A license plate was reported stolen at 511 Bellevue St.

* Approved Auto Sales, 402 S. Kingshighway, reported six cars stolen following an inventory check.

* A portable CD player and cash were reported stolen at 1454 Luce St.

* A CD player was reported stolen at 330 S. Louisiana Ave.

* A theft was reported at 3267 William St.

* A cellular telephone was reported stolen at 620 Commercial St.

* Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported a theft of coaxial cable. Geralyn A. Grice, 19, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested in connection with the complaint.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 1415 Good Hope St.

Property damage

* An automobile windshield and driver's side window were reported damaged at 3049 William St.

* Property damage was reported at 3415 William St.

Miscellaneous

* Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at the intersection of Old Sprigg Street and Oak Lei Drive.

* A 29-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* US Bank, 3060 William St., reported a forgery. A suspect was in custody pending filing of formal charges in connection with the complaint.

* A wallet was reported lost in the Cape Girardeau area.

* Harassing telephone calls were reported.

* A 23-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Two bicycles were found at 214 S. Silver Springs Road.

* A wallet was reported lost at 3049 William St.
