The following items were released Friday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Claire Custer, 19, 390 N. Henderson Ave., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to yield.

Arrests

* Phil V. Mattingly, 36, 2814 Whitener St., Apt. 4, was arrested on suspicion of stealing and on city warrants for failure to appear for property damage and trespassing.

* Tammy R. Umfleet, 45, 1112 Perry Ave., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* David E. Popp, 40, 1104 Themis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

* Bryan K. Reid, 22, 1400 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for contempt of court for failure to report to confinement.

* Christopher J. Coonts, 21, 212 Cook Ave., Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Hershel Lawrence Wiley, 49, 231S. Hanover St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

* Charles Edward Park, 29, 807 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for a seatbelt violation.

* Robert Wayne Cashon, 42, 911 Seminole Lane, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for stealing.

Thefts

* Liquor was reported stolen from Food Giant, 1120 N. Kingshighway.

* A purse and medications were reported stolen from 400 S. Sprigg St.

* A sofa, television and VCR were reported stolen during a burglary at 831 S. Kingshighway.

* A wallet, clothing, jewelry, makeup and assorted items were reported stolen from 124 N. Henderson Ave.

* Cable and razor blades were reported stolen from Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* A PlayStation 2 and games were reported stolen from 230 Good Hope St.

Property damage

* Vehicle air bags were reported punctured at Schott Farms Inc., 2075 Corporate Circle.

Miscellaneous

* Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported receiving a forged check.

* A burglary was reported at 239 N. Middle St.

Jackson

The following items were released Friday by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

* A license plate was reported stolen in the 100 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.

* Identity theft was reported in the 500 block of Greensferry Road.

Property damage

* A store window was reported broken at Subway, 402 W. Main St.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported in the 600 block of West Main Street.

The following items were released Friday by the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Philip J. Swift, 19, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of stealing, possession of a controlled substance and second-degree assault, and on warrants from Cape Girardeau County for resisting arrest and probation violation on an original charge of third-degree assault.

* Thomas H. Thrower, 51, of Burfordville was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for domestic assault.

Summons

* Angelic G. Lara, 32, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for driving without a license.
