DWIs

* Deborah A. Cohen, 44, of 1504 N. Clark Ave., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* Donald B. Blankenship, 54, of Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and not having a license plate light.

Arrests

* Joseph A. Renicke, 42, of the 300 block of Lorimier Street, was arrested for stealing, forgery, fraudulent use of a credit card device.

* Joseph B. Cannan, 26, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for a parole violation.

* Desmond A. Irvin, 21, of 607 N. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Summons

* Janet S. Jackson, 33, of 1312 Big Bend Road, received a summons for a leash law violation.

Assaults

* An assault was reported. A 13-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court in connection with the complaint.

* Two assaults were reported.

Thefts

* Sears Grand, 330 Siemers Drive, reported a theft. Naliniben C. Patel, 35, of Marston, Mo., was arrested in connection with the complaint.

* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported the theft of gasoline.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 407 East Lane in Jackson. Leotis S. Allen, 20, of 407 East Lane in Jackson, was arrested in connection with the complaint.

Property damage

* A broken window and damaged sectional were reported at 1132 N. Middle St.

* Two tires were reported flattened at 430 Sheridan Drive.

Miscellaneous

* A domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon was reported at 670 Napa Circle. Muhammed D. Jackson, 30, of 670 Napa Circle was arrested in connection with the complaint.

* Central Junior High School, 205 Caruthers Ave., reported trespassing. Two juveniles, ages 13 and 14, were cited into juvenile court in connection with the complaint.

* A dog bite was reported at 134 S. Park Ave.

* A disturbance of the peace was reported.

* One person was in custody for driving while suspended, speeding, unlicensed vehicle and having no brake lights. Charges were pending.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Deanna R. Hill, 34, of 163 Pinoak Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for passing bad checks.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported in the 300 block of South Ohio Street.

Miscellaneous

* A disturbance was reported in the 3700 block of Shalom Street.

* A suspicious person was reported in the 2000 block of Old Toll Road.

* A request to keep the peace was made in the 400 block of North Shawnee Boulevard.

Cape Girardeau County

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau County sheriff's department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Kevin L. Steger, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, failure to signal, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.

Arrests

* Bradley S. Hobbs, 35, of Cape Girardeau, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation and possession of a controlled substance, and on a St. Louis warrant for trafficking drugs.

* Benny Benavente, 18, of Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for resisting or interfering with an arrest, disturbing the peace, possession of liquor by a minor and stealing.

* Ricky L. Dennison, 50, of Jackson, was arrested on a St. Francois County warrant for failure to appear for speeding.

* Justin E. Spencer, 26, of Cape Girardeau was arrested for driving while suspended and failure to equip a motor vehicle with two approved headlamps.

* Lance W. Farrow, 36, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau city warrant for probation violation for stealing.

* Dana L. Cureton, 23, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Bollinger County warrant for failure to appear for failing to secure a child 4 to 16 years old in a properly fastened seat belt.

* Mable L. Robinson, 60, of McClure, Ill., was arrested on a New Madrid County warrant for passing a bad check.

* Phillip M. Smith, 19, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for check kiting.

Summons

* William B. Kauffman, 17, of Jackson, received a summons for possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and being a minor in possession of tobacco.
