The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assaulting a law enforcement officer.
* Ashley Nicole Little, 17, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of stealing from Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway.
* Katherina Leann Barnard, 29, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of stealing from Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway.
* Sara Heather Cooper, 34, 116 N. Spring Ave., was arrested on a Poplar Bluff, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for trespassing.
* John Lee Tate, 30, 308 Ohio St., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.
* Richard James Maxwell, 41, 408 Bellevue St., was arrested on suspicion of a peace disturbance.
* Lohoma L. Williams, 41, 1824 N. Main St., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court to pay fines for a stop-sign violation and failure to display license upon request.
* Mickey Wayne Yount, unknown age, 702 W. Highland Drive, received a summons for no insurance, striking a parked vehicle, driving with a suspended license and making a false report.
* Christina E. Dunlap, unknown age, 702 W. Highland Drive, received a summons for making a false report.
* Lakeshia M. Foulks, 32, 1015 S. Sprigg St., received a summons for a leash-law violation, not having city license and failure to maintain a vicious animal.
* Trenitit K. Brooks, 20, of Malden, Mo., received a summons for stealing.
* Chelsea E. Snider, 19, of Bernie, Mo., received a summons for stealing.
* An assault was reported.
* Metal railing was reported stolen at 1938 Delwin St.
* A dog was reported stolen at 3613 Old Hopper Road.
* Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
* BiState, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.
* An electric skillet was reported stolen at 1000 N. Middle St.
* A trailer was reported stolen.
* Dollar General Store, 1142 N. Kingshighway, reported stealing.
* A vehicle windshield was reported damaged at 2127 William St.
* Failure to return to confinement was reported.
* A peace disturbance was reported.
* A 46-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
