  • Leander West Jr., 20, 2806 Independence St., Apt. 311, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • A subject is in custody pending charges for unlawful use of a weapon, felon in possession of a firearm and armed criminal action.
  • Christopher R. Anderson, 27, 737 Themis St., Apt. 2, was arrested on four Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court, speeding, seat belt, no operator's license and failure to maintain motor vehicle financial responsibility requirements.
  • Toni W. Nesby, 18, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Two subjects were in custody pending charges for stealing.
  • Chetiqua A. Poindexter, 21, 1205 S. Jefferson Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for peace disturbance.
  • Taleka M. Young, 22, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for stealing.
  • Rhonda S. Quintana, 38, of St. Louis was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for suspended operator's license.

Summonses

  • Matthew D. Christopher, 20, 1332 N. Spanish St., was issued a summons for resisting arrest.
  • Dreshawn D. Johnson, 17, 611 N. Lorimier St., was issued a summons for stealing.

Thefts

  • A cell phone and medications were reported stolen at 2818 Whitener St.
  • A wooden chest was reported stolen at 1739 N. Kingshighway.
  • A purse and medications were reported stolen at 3439 William St.

Arrests

  • Matthew A. Brown, 17, 5663 Highway 72, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for burglary.
  • Dorian T. Roberts, 18, 2506 Old Cape Road, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for burglary, tampering with motor vehicle.
  • Two 16-year-olds were cited into juvenile court for burglary.

  • Misty D. Blair, 27, of Sedgewickville, Mo., was issued a summons for stealing.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 400 block of West Main Street.

  • A burglary was reported in the 2600 block of Old Cape Road.
