Cape Girardeau: Arrests; Summonses; Thefts; Jackson: Arrests; Theft; Burglary; Assaults

Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Steven R. Aguirre, 31, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of weapons.

* Tyrone Marion, 46, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court and failure to pay fine and cost for no license.

* Cody S. Swinney, 18, 401 S. West End Blvd., Apt. A, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Patricia L. Griffin, 45, of Scott City was issued a summons for driving while impaired, no insurance and failure to maintain a single lane.

Summonses

* Patrick J. Martin, 27, 1502 Jane St., was issued a summons for careless and imprudent driving.

* Robert Q.J. Woods, 24, 1427 Price Drive, was issued a summons for noise violation.

* Matthew D. Smith, 18, 805 Ranney Ave., was issued a summons on suspicion of failure to maintain property free of trash.

* Michael H. Purkey, 1122 S. Ranney Ave., was issued a summons for placement of waste containers.

Thefts

* Kids Wear again, 118 N. Main St., reported a theft of clothing. Five juveniles were arrested in connection with the incident.

* A digital camera was reported stolen at 2031 Brink Ave.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 503 Woodbine Place.

* Jaspers, 1008 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.

* Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of fuel.

* A string trimmer was reported stolen at 616 Boxwood Drive.

* Rhodes 101, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported a theft of fuel.

* License plates were reported stolen at 40 S. Sprigg St.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Keith Williams, 47, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 100 block of South High Street.

* A theft was reported in the area of East Jefferson Street.

* A theft was reported in the 300 block of South Missouri street.

* A theft was reported in the 400 block of Willow Bend Drive.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported in the 400 block of Willow Bend Drive.

Assaults

* An assault was reported in the 400 block of Alvin Street.

* An assault was reported in the area of North Union Avenue.
