Police report 8/26/08

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Nicholas B. Patterson, 20, of Radford, Va., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
• Brian W. Biri, 29, 1853 Carolina St., was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
• Deandre Betts, 58, 624 S. Benton St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
• David A. McClanahan, 21, 1015 Bloomfield St., Apt. 11, was arrested on suspicion of assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

Summons

• Tara R. Rucker, 20, 211 S. Park St., was issued a summons for failure to obtain animal license.

Theft

• Amoco BP, 3276 William St., reported a theft of gaosline.

Property damages

• Vehicle damage was reported at 844 Rodney Vista Drive.
