Cape Girardeau police released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A suspect was in custody pending filing of charges for domestic assault.
  • Catherine L. Drury, 19, 3610 Engram St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, speeding and no seat belt.
  • Brett Andrew Fay, 21, 416 N. West End Blvd., was arrested on suspicion of having a disorderly house.
  • Horace E. Hensen, 47, 505 N. Broadview St., No. 107, was arrested on suspicion of harassment by phone.
  • Alphonso J. Jones, 22, 1330 Village Drive, No. 1, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for displaying the vehicle plates of another and Arnold, Mo., warrants for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Robert Loren Henry, 21, 811 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
  • Byron Keith Ayers, 39, 2830 Whitener St., No. 8, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to drive in a single lane, false declaration and on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for bad checks.
  • A 15-year-old boy was arrested for curfew violation.

Summonses

  • Dennis Richard Lorcil, 58, 1215 Independence St., was mailed a summons for failure to maintain property free of weeds.
  • Lee Scott Preston, 32, 221 N. Sprigg St., was issued a summons for leash-law violation.

Assaults

  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at 1330 Village Drive, No. 1.

Thefts

  • A tailgate and side step was taken from a truck and its paint was scratched at 823 N. Clark Ave.
  • A portable CD player was reported stolen at 1024 Perry Ave.
  • A Tennessee license plate was reported stolen at 1400 S. West End Blvd.
  • Gasoline was reported stolen at 2109 William St.
  • A digital camera and a ring were reported stolen at 230 Mill St.
  • A 1994 maroon Ford Taurus was reported stolen at 504 S. Frederick St.
  • A purse was reported stolen at 113 Broadway.
  • Identity theft was reported.

Property damage

  • A vehicle window was reported damaged in the 1200 block of South Ellis Street.
  • A vehicle hood and window were reported damaged at Henderson Avenue and Independence Street.
  • Two windows were reported broken at 823 N. Missouri Ave.
  • Windows were reported broken at 3340 Collins Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • A runaway juvenile was reported.
  • An ex parte violation was reported.
  • Receiving stolen property was reported.
  • A 25-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
