Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrest
- Christina Lynn Brumbaugh, 30, 681 E. Jefferson St. in Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
- Nieko Dujuan Kuykendoll, 17, 923 Good Hope St., was arrested on suspicion of assault, armed criminal action and robbery.
- Vincent Lee Twiggs II, 27, 1200 Cousin St., was arrested on suspicion of trafficking crack cocaine and resisting arrest by flight.
- Emily Beth Brown, 29, 2419 Lynnwood Drive, was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
- Benjamin Reece Gates, 28, 34 N. Park Ave., Apt. B, was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
- Justin Dunshay Brown, 19, 201 S. Lorimier St., Apt. A, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a weapon and driving without a license.
- Shauntel Laquana Roberts, 19, 208 S. Middle St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.
- A subject is in custody pending charges of domestic assault.
Summons
- Charles W. Richey, 38, 1947 Briarwood Drive, was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of trash.
- Larry Lee Gibson, 58, 1927 N. Kingshighway, Lot 33, was issued a summons for prohibited acts, noise violation.
- Peter Jennings Whisnant, 24, 1728 Pemiscot St., was issued a summons for a leash-law violation.
- Alia J. Shurn, 23, 1520 Dunklin St., was issued a summons for assault.
Assault
Burglary
- A burglary was reported at 2522 Saddlegate Court.
Thefts
- Oxygen canisters, a fire extinguisher, oxygen regulators and liquid flow meters were reported stolen at Heartland Home Health Care, 338 S. Silver Springs Road. A vehicle window was reported damaged in the incident.
- Money and cigarettes were reported stolen at 2009 Sara Drive.
- A purse was reported stolen at 613 Locust St.
- Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
- Jaspers, 1008 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
- Don's Store 24, 341 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
Property damage
- A vehicle was reported damaged at 708 S. Benton St.
- A cable line was reported damaged at Spanish and Mason streets.
Miscellaneous
- Interference with child custody was reported.
- A 33-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.
Thefts
- A theft was reported in the 2500 block of Terrace Park Drive.
- A theft was reported in the 700 block of Rosamund Street.

- Property damage was reported in the 1200 block of Brandom Street.

DWIs
- William J. Marvel, 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
- Jerrica L. Okelly, 20, of Whitewater was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and intentional inhalation of a solvent.
Arrest
- Larry G. Obermann, 51, of Dutchtown was arrested on a Scott County warrant for driving while intoxicated.
- Caleb B. Marshall, 17, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of liquor.
- Ashlie D. Morgan, 18, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of liquor.
- Travis M. Stanley, 29, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault.
- Michael D. Barnes, 34, of Jackson was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for passing a bad check.
- Otis Mattox, 57, of Milwaukee, Wis., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for driving while intoxicated, driving without a valid license, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to wear a seat belt.
- Sherron M. Minor, 24, of Mounds, Ill., was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrant for forgery, a Macon County, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for assault and a Jackson County, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for assault.
- Jerry Wood, 33, of Fredericktown, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked and failure to register a motor vehicle.
- Matthew C. Marshall, 40, of Fredericktown, Mo., was arrested on a Madison County warrant for passing a bad check.
- Rondall L. Rogers, 32, of Scott City was arrested on an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives warrant to maliciously causing damage by fire.
- Amy L. Dillon, 32, of Jackson was arrested on a Ste. Genevieve County warrant for forgery.
- Jason S. Crooks, 29, of Jackson was arrested on a St. Charles County, Mo., warrant for operating a motor vehicle with vision-reducing material.
