CAPE GIRARDEAU

Cape Girardeau Police Department responded to the following calls. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A warrant arrest was reported on Broadway.

• A warrant arrest and leaving the scene of an accident were reported on North Sprigg Street.

Assaults

• Second-degree assault was reported on Broadway.

• Fourth-degree domestic assault was reported on Boxwood Drive.

• Second-degree assault was reported on North Ellis Street.

Thefts

• Theft from a vehicle was reported on North Street.

• Theft was reported on South Kingshighway.

• Shoplifting was reported on South Kingshighway.

• Stealing, forgery and fraud were reported on William Street.

• Theft of a motor vehicle/watercraft/aircraft was reported on North Ellis Street.

• Theft of a firearm/explosive weapon/ammonium nitrate, theft from a motor vehicle, theft of a motor vehicle/watercraft/aircraft and resisting/interfering with arrest, detention or stop were reported on North Frederick Street.

• Second-degree burglary was reported on North Pind Wood Lane.

• Theft of a vehicle was reported on Meadowbrook Lane.

• Stealing and fraud were reported.

• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported on William Street.

• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported on North Kingshighway.

• Leash requirement violation was reported on Ranney Avenue.

• Second-degree tampering with a motor vehicle was reported on Yorktown Drive.

• Possession of alcohol by a minor and littering in a park were reported on South County Park Drive.

• Amos D. Taylor Jr., 32, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on two Cape Girardeau County warrants for stealing.

• Devon M. Williams, 26, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on two Sikeston Department of Public Safety warrants for two counts of failure to appear for obstructing police.

• Devan A. Lyerla, 23, of Jackson was arrested on a Perry County warrant for probation violation for child molestation.

• Travis D. Ray, 38, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated.

• Anthony M. Varro, 24, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Probation & Parole warrant for probation violation for third-degree assault.

• Anthony J. Barton, 35, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

• Devonda L. Miller, 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Miner Police Department warrant for failure to appear for failure to register motor vehicle.

• Elijah I. Alford, 26, of Millersville was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for no seatbelt.

• Jeromiah A. Trankle, 46, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of stealing a firearm, two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, two counts of stealing and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Fernando P. Pina, 26, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Probation & Parole warrant for probation violation for resisting arrest and driving while intoxicated.

• Sherry L, Dietiker, 46, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Probation & Parole warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

• Gretchen M. Boston, 38, of Advance was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for trafficking drugs and possession of a controlled substance.

• Omarion D. Branch, 21, of Kennett was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County for seatbelt violation.
