Arrests

  • John William Jennings, 38, of Cranberry Top, Pa., was arrested on a warrant.
  • A suspect was placed in custody for possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance.
  • Claudette Latrice Johnson, 32, of Parma, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
  • Nicholas Joseph McMackins, 22, 1410 Pemiscot St., was arrested on a Cape Girardea warrant for failure to appear.
  • Christopher Nathan Mackey Jr., 23, 2834 Whitener St., Apt. 5, was arrested on two Ste. Genevieve County warrants for failure to appear.
  • A subject was in custody pending formal charges of stealing.

Summonses

  • Alanna Brooke, 21, of Jackson was issued a summons for a fireworks violation.
  • Daniel Joseph Onley, 25, of Jackson was issued a summons for a fireworks violation.

  • An assault was reported.

Burglary

  • A TV, a PlayStation 3, a DVD and clothes were reported taken in a second-degree burglary at 2830 Independence St., Apt. 14.
  • An Xbox and games were reported stolen in a second-degree burglary at 3015 Aspen Drive, Apt. 124.

Theft

  • A satellite radio and sunglasses were reported stolen at 2216 Sussex Drive.
  • A DVD player was reported stolen at 429 N. Frederick St.
  • A scooter was reported stolen at 1326 N. Sprigg St., Apt. 5.
  • A Missouri license plate was reported stolen.
  • Bi-State, 920 N. Kings­highway, reported a theft of gasoline.
