Cape Girardeau: Arrests; Summonses; Assaults; Thefts; Burglary; Property damage

Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A 13-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl were cited into juvenile court for being beyond parental control.

* Edgar L. Givens Jr., 23, of New Madrid, Mo., was arrested on a New Madrid County warrant for failure to appear for seat-belt violation.

* James W. Hensel, 18, of Ellington, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for no seat belt.

Summonses

* Teresa A. Campbell, 43, 2535 Ranchito Drive, was issued a summons for failure to comply with building inspectors' orders.

Assaults

* An assault was reported. Joshua E. Foeste, 27, 607 Terry Lane, was issued a summons in connection with the incident.

Thefts

* A Nintendo and cash were reported stolen at 1744 Luce St.

* A backpack was reported stolen at 410 Kiwanis Drive.

* Cash was reported stolen at 3253 William St.

* A GPS unit, radar detector and transmitter were reported stolen at 2846 Whitener St.

* An iPod was reported stolen at 430 Broadway.

* A purse was reported stolen at 3439 William St.

* Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of alcohol.

Burglary

* The Cape Girardeau Public Library, 711 N. Clark Ave., reported a burglary.

Property damage

* A vehicle was reported damaged at 1030 Perry Avenue.
