The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Trenell A. Clemons, 22, 520 Olive St., was arrested on a Cape Giradeau County warrant for domestic assault.

* Paul S. Simpson, 25, 637 S. Henderson Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for statutory rape and statutory sodomy.

* Elizabeth F.S. Harris, 21, 424 Sheridan St., Apt. 9A, was arrested on two Ste. Geneveive County warrants for failure to appear for traffic offenses and possession of marijuana.

* Jacinth McClendon, 31, of Pulaski, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of noise violation and false declaration.

* Sylvester Smith, 58, 618 North St., Apt. 301, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

* A subject was arrested on suspicion of child abuse.

* Chance T. Umfleet, 29, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for no operator's license.

* Luis V. Osuna, 38, 234 N. Lormier St., Apt. 4, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Thefts

* Yard ornaments were reported stolen at 1924 College St.

* A black 1985 Jeep CJ-7 was reported stolen at 103 N. Henderson Ave.

* Yard ornaments were reported stolen at 205 Barberry St.

Assault

* An assault was reported.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported at 401 S. Pacific St. Kenya L. Morris, 22, 5 Village Drive, Apt. 7, was issued a summons for property damage.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Melissa A. Lane, 23, 1611 Rosebud St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

* Timothy M. Harris, 17, 606 W. Adamas St., Apt. 2, was arrested on suspicion of possession of alcohol by a minor.

* Steven A. Tanner, 19, 135 S. Shawnee Blvd, Apt. 10C, was arrested on suspicion of possession of alcohol by a minor.

* Joshua R. Musch, 27, 914 Old Cape Road, was arrested on suspicion of supplying alcohol to minors.

Thefts

* Two thefts were reported in the 200 block of Daisy Avenue.

* Two thefts were reported in the 200 block of Elmwood Boulevard.

* A theft was reported in the 600 block of Old Cape Road.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 2400 block of East Main Street.

Miscellaneous

* A disturbance was reported in the 300 block of South Union Avenue.

* A disturbance was reported in the 600 block of Broadridge Drive.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Jessica Street.
