Police report 7/1/10

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Patrick Rittman, 31, 3131 Themis St., was arrested on a Chaffee, Mo., warrant for contempt of court for trespassing.

* Jamal C. Jennings, 20, 2002 Windwood Drive, was arrested on suspicion of stealing, property damage and resisting arrest.

* Subjects were in custody pending formal charges of stealing and possession of methamphetamine precursors with the intent to manufacture.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of resisting and interfering with arrest.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of possession of oxycontin.

* Kevin L. Kielhofner, 27, of Oran, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.

* Tyrell L. Avance, 17, of Oran, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing from Macy's, 3049 William St.

Summonses

* George R. Strahan, 47, 734 N. Middle St., received a summons for harassment.

* Randy J. Jackson, 18, 2842 Independence St., received a summons for trespassing.

* Chrystal L. Harris, 17, 827 N. Spanish St., received a summons for a fireworks violation.

Assaults

* Two domestic assaults were reported.

Thefts

* Electronic goods were reported stolen at 511 Albert St.

* Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported fuel stolen.

* Hucks, 353 S. Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.

* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported fuel stolen.

Property damage

* A vehicle window was reported damaged at 2013 Lee Drive.

Miscellaneous

* Harassment was reported.

* A peace disturbance was reported.

* A 25-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* Check into Cash, 2118 William St., reported fraudulent use of a credit device.

* A peace disturbance was reported at North West End Boulevard and Pemiscot Street.
