Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Jeremy C. Jones, 18, 919 S. Pacific St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
- Kristopher R. Knaeble, 17, 701 Broadway, was arrested on suspicion of stealing and being a minor in possession of alcohol.
- David A. Hoffman, 17, 1013 Elm St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing and being a minor in possession of alcohol.
- Keith L. Monia, 47, of 3719 Carolewood Drive, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.
- Trevor G. Thompson, 22, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
- Ashley L. Thompson, 24, 415 Bellevue St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for speeding.
- Eather M. Simpson, 23, of Gary, Ind., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau County warrants for failure to appear for assault and peace disturbance.
- John J. Baker, 21, 1350 Oakley Drive, was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court.
- Gregory L. Nicholson, 37, 318 Mill St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
- A 16-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of a curfew violation and being beyond parental control.
- Three girls, ages 14 and 15, were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of curfew violation.
Summonses
- Funtasia D. Clark, 21, 409 Sheridan Drive, received a summons for vehicle damage.
Assault
- Domestic assault was reported.
Thefts
- An MP3 player and wallet were reported stolen at 1616 Themis St.
- A computer was reported stolen at 833 Merriwether St.
- A purse was reported stolen at 2504 Masters Drive.
- Huck's, 353 S. Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.
- A cell phone and money were reported stolen at 45 S. West End Blvd.
- A CD player and an iPod were reported stolen at 1625 Themis St.
- Shell, 3415 William St., reported fuel stolen.
Property damage
- Damage to a pipe was reported at 531 S. Hanover St.
Miscellaneous
- Child abuse was reported.
- The Medicine Shoppe, 864 N. Kingshighway, reported a fraudulent attempt to obtain a prescription.
- Motor vehicle tampering was reported.
- Harassment was reported.
- A 43-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.
Burglary
- A burglary was reported in the 5000 block of Old Cape Road.
- A burglary was reported in the 300 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.
Thefts
- A theft was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard.
- A theft was reported in the 1800 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
Miscellaneous
- Fraud was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
- Harassment was reported on Apache Avenue.
