Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

• Andy B. King, 38, 2544 Bridlepath Court, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
• James A. Baker, 19, 1462 Price Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to signal.

Arrests

• Alexander Kyle Walker, 23, 618 North St., Apt. 202, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court.
• Ophelia Smith, 44, 814 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for possession of controlled substance (three counts) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Theodore I. Stucker, 25, 620 Boxwood Drive, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
• A 12-year-old was cited in juvenile court for possession of fireworks by a minor.
• Erica S. Emanuel, 29, 715 S. Pacific St., was arrested on an Alexander County, Ill., warrant for failure to appear for a traffic charge.
• Chant D. Long, 423 Marroseann Drive, Apt. 15, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
• Michaela E. Saffold, 24, 621 Good Hope St., Apt. B, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for possession with intent to distribute.
• Shawn M. Varro, 18, 3833 Fawn Drive., was arrested on a Union County, Ill., warrant for failure to appear for weapons violation.
• James Foggie III, 42, 546 S. Pacific St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
• Zechariah Lee James, 20, 1014 Merriwether St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for domestic assault.

Summonses

• Karen Jeneen Moore, 43, 609 Jefferson Ave., received a summons for disturbing the peace.
• Erica S. Emanuel, 29, 715 S. Pacific St., received a summons for prohibited acts (noise violation).
• Bobbi J. Hurt, 33, 1214 Meadowbrook Drive, received a summons for leash-law violation and no city animal tag.

Assaults

• Two domestic assaults were reported.

Thefts

• Sears, 330 Siemers Drive, reported the theft of video games; a suspect was arrested.
• Kidd's, 1325 Broadway, reported the theft of gasoline.
• Sports equipment was reported stolen from 3015 Keystone Drive.
• A bike was reported stolen from 1326 Rosewood Drive.
• A purse was reported stolen from 1320 W. Cape Rock Drive.
• A purse was reported stolen from 15 N. Main St.
• UKwick Stop, 1702 Broadway, reported the theft of gasoline.
• Medication was reported stolen at 221 St. Francis Drive.
• A Kenwood stereo faceplate was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of North Water Street.
• A gold 2000 Chrysler 3000, license plate 093-ZTM, was reported stolen.
• Dollar General, 64 S. Plaza Way, reported the theft of a Pokemon sticker book.
• Rhodes, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported the theft of gasoline.
• Jasper's, 1008 N. Kingshighway, reported the theft of gasoline.
• A purse, digital camera and sandals were reported stolen at 824 Bellevue St.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported on the 200 block of North Water Street.

• A blue 1986 Toyota Tercel was towed from 615 Morgan Oak St.
• A blue 1986 GMC Carryall was towed from Jefferson and Middle streets.
• A black 1996 Chevy Tahoe was towed from 1710 N. Sprigg St.
• A peace disturbance was reported at 341 S. Sprigg St.
• Phone harassment was reported.
• A statutory rape was reported.
• A dealer tag from Larry's Auto Sales, 411 Pro Lane, Perryville, was reported lost in the city of Cape Girardeau.
