DWI

  • Morgan R. Sharkey, 40, of Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

  • Shundrick L. Daniels, 29, of Columbia, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
  • Ashlee J. Miller, 21, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Orenthal J. McCluney, 25, of Benton, Mo., was arrested on a Mississippi County warrant for failure to appear.
  • Brenda J. Borgfield, 44, 526 S. Benton St., was arrested on suspicion of probation violation.
  • Tristen D. Lipps, 20, 1743 Lakeshore Drive, was arrested on suspicion of peace disturbance and minor in possession by consumption.
  • Danitra M. Demolle, 19, 822 Good Hope St., was arrested on suspicion of peace disturbance and minor in possession by consumption.
  • A suspect is in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Elic L. Payne, 19, 1205 S. Ellis St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court.

Summons

  • Janelle L. Kelly, 20, 617 S. Ellis St., received a summons for leash law violation.

Thefts

  • A radar detector, money, assorted CDs and a CD case were reported stolen from 3556 Pheasant Cove Drive.
  • Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported gasoline theft.
  • Kidds, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline theft.

Assaults

  • Two assaults were reported.

Property damage

  • A door frame was reported damaged at 401 Albert St.
  • Trespassing and property damage were reported.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon and property damage were reported.
  • Damage to vehicle was reported at 1710 N. Sprigg St.

Miscellaneous

  • A purse was reported found at 2861 Themis St.
  • A silver bicycle was reported found.
  • Failure to maintain property free of weeds was reported.
  • Phone harassment was reported.

Jackson

The following items were reported by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

  • Susan B. Young, 52, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked, false declaration, improper display of plates, failure to maintain insurance and failure to use turn signal.

Summons

  • Darrell A. Mitchell, 34, of Bloomsdale, Mo., received a summons for failure to stop.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 300 block of Elwanda Drive.
  • Burglary was reported in the 900 block of Aspen Drive.

Assault

  • Assault was reported in the 700 block of Corrine Street.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 3500 block of Ridge Road.

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

  • Peyton Sims, 23, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • Frank Nichol, 35, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving without a valid license.
  • Dale Sanders, 46, of Cape Gir­ar­deau was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • Michelle R. Green, 38, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • Charles J. Green, 39, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • Martin A. Arnzen, 34, of Leopold, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on right half of the roadway.

Arrests

  • Tracy Welch, 36, of Cape Gir­ar­deau was arrested on suspicion of endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Christopher M. McLeod, 29, of Burfordville was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation -- driving while intoxicated.

Southeast Missouri State
