The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Bray E. Burton, 49, of 321 S. Spanish St. was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and consumption of alcohol in a public place.

Arrests

  • Cortez D. Bell, 29, of 420 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on two Williamson County, Ill., warrants for aggravated domestic battery.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges of second-degree assault on school property.
  • Joe Elvis Kindle, 50, 522 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for driving while revoked.
  • Christopher D. Sutton, 20, of 860 Kingshighway, New Madrid, Mo. was arrested on a Cape County warrant for parole absconding.
  • Clarence Brown Jr., 21, of 816 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau County warrants for failure to appear for driving while revoked and speeding.
  • Michael T. Franklin Jr., 21, of 9914 Cambria Drive, St. Louis, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation and suspicion of false declaration and walking in the street.

Summons

  • Amy J. Stoffregen, 26, of 635 Charles St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thefts

  • A 13-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing.
  • Hometown Cash Advance of 1131 N. Kingshighway reported cash stolen.
  • Loreale L. Jansen, 24, of Route 1, Box 231A, Marble Hill was issued a summons on suspicion of stealing CDs and clothing from Wal-Mart at 3439 William St. Two 14-year-old girls were cited into juvenile court on the charge.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported at 1555 Amblewood Drive.
  • Vehicle damage was reported at the corner of Main Street and Broadway.

Miscellaneous

  • An occurrence of fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance was reported.
  • Failure to maintain a property free of weeds was reported.
  • Assisting another agency was reported.
  • An animal attack was reported.
  • Leaving the scene of an accident was reported at Broadway and Ellis Street.
  • Failure to maintain property free of weeds was reported.
  • Possession of marijuana and cocaine with intent to distribute was reported.
  • A missing person was reported.
  • A 34-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • Assisting Department of Family Services was reported.

  • William T. Wiggins, 27, of Fredericktown, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked.
  • Bradley D. Gregory, 29, of Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • Jerry Conrad, 20, of Millersville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and being a minor in possession of alcohol.
  • William C. Brucker, 47, of Oak Ridge, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • Mark J. Kielhofner, 45, of Perkins Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended.

  • Kelly Over, 24, of Oak Ridge, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Dale C. Ham, 22, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Iretha L. Bible, 46, of Mounds, Ill., was arrested on a Cooper County warrant for speeding.
  • Pierre C. Leech, 32, of Columbia, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation, speeding.
  • Marie D. Hipwell, 31, of Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for a stop sign violation.
  • Dawn M. Austin, 32, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for assault.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

  • A report of an assault in the 900 block of West Adams Street.
  • A report of an attempted burglary in the 400 block of Kies Avenue.
  • A request to check the welfare on East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A report of a peace disturbance in the 100 block of South Bellevue Street.

The Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety released the following item.

  • An iPod and headphones were reported stolen from Kent Library.
