Cape Girardeau

Arrests
- Stephanie E. Koenig, 22, of 830 N. Fountain St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for leaving the scene of an accident and driving with a revoked operator's license. Koenig also received a summons for driving with a revoked license.
- Eddie E. Stovall, 41, of Saddlebrooke, Mo., was arrested on a Christian County warrant for larceny.
- A suspect was in custody pending filing of charges for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
- Susan M. Lowe, 31, of 428 S. Hanover St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to pay fine and cost for driving without a license, contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for driving without a license and contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for improper registration. Lowe also was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for assault.
- A suspect was in custody pending the filing of charges for making a false bomb report.
- Three boys were cited into juvenile court for curfew violations.
- James A. Snell Jr., 32, of 318 N. Sprigg St., was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest by fleeing protective custody.
- Margaret A. Fowler, 37, of Scott City was arrested on Scott County warrants for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance and probation violation.
- A 22-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
- A 19-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
Thefts
- Federal Home Loan Mortgage, 2037 Woodlawn Ave., reported paving stones stolen.
- Prescription medication was reported stolen from 1005 Good Hope St.
- A tool bag and tools were reported stolen from 1142 N. Frederick St.
- Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.
- Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.
Assaults
- A third-degree assault was reported.
Summonses
- Maurice R. McClinton, 23, of 926 William St., received a summons for an open container violation.
- Ryan P. Gibbons, 22, of Affton, Mo., Mathew R. Jennings, 21, of Hillsboro, Mo., and Brian Snyder, 21, of O'Fallon, Ill., received summonses for littering in lakes or fountains.
- Lori L. Woodney, of 1732 Anna St., received a summons for running a red light in a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route K and Farrar Drive.
- Cheryl Ann Johnson, of 1401 N. Water St., received a summons for following too closely in a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route K and Mount Auburn Road.
Property damage
- A vehicle was reported damaged at 130 S. Park Drive.
- A car door handle was reported broken at 1927 N. Kingshighway.
- A vehicle was reported damaged at 3026 William St.
Miscellaneous
- Medicine Shop, 864 N. Kingshighway, reported a fraudulent attempt to purchase a controlled substance.

Arrests
- Daniel L. Abner, 24, of Bell City, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Summonses
- Brenda K. Druerup, 46, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to stop at a posted stop sign.
- Christopher M. Jordan, 20, of Jackson was issued summonses for speeding and failure to show proof of insurance.
- Yancey D. Carden, 26, of Sikeston, Mo., was issued a summons for affray.
- Henry A. Vaughn, 23, of Sikeston, Mo., was issued a summons for affray.
- Nicholas B. Patterson, 18, of Millersville was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
Burglary
- A burglary was reported in the 100 block of South Bellevue Street.

- A domestic assault was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

- A lawn ornament was reported stolen from the 1300 block of Rolling Fields Drive.

- A peace disturbance was reported in the 2200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
