The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Edgar R. Garcia, 27, 2867 Whitener St., Apt. B2, was arrested on suspicion of forgery and identity theft.

Summonses

* Steven W. Lacy, 33, of Dexter, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of trash.

* Samlameh A. Massarweh, 44, of South Haven, Miss., was issued a summons for excessive weeds.

Assaults

* Three assaults were reported.

Thefts

* A violin was reported stolen at 1000 S. Silver Springs Road.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 1000 S. Silver Springs Road.

* Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kings-highway, reported a theft of fuel.

* Kmart reported a theft. Robert C. Graff, 21, 412 Estate Drive, Lot 11, was arrested in connection with the incident.

* A radio, CD player, money and sunglasses were reported stolen at 2508 Nottingham St.

Miscellaneous

* A 31-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 41-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Emily J. Owens, 419 N. Georgia St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrest

* A juvenile was cited into juvenile court for assault.

Summons

* Nora J. Douglas, 47, 2540 Ridge Road, was issued a summons for assault.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 200 block of Green Meadows Drive.

* Two thefts were reported in the 3500 block of Ridge Road.

* A theft was reported in the 3600 block of Eastwood Drive.

* A theft was reported in the 600 block of West Washington Street.

* A theft was reported in the 400 block of West Main Street.

* A theft was reported on Eastwood Drive and North Oak Hill Road.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 300 block of South Hope Street.

Miscellaneous

* Fraud was reported in the 2400 block of Old Cape Road.
