The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Malik J. Armstrong, 26, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jefferson County, Missouri, warrant for traffic offense.
• Vincent J. Jones, 43, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Perry County, Missouri, warrant for operating a motor vehicle without a license.

JACKSON

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Assault

• Assault was reported in the 1700 block of South Hope Street.

Theft

• Theft was reported in the 100 block of North Georgia Street.

Miscellaneous

• Property damage was reported in the 800 block of Corrine Street.
• Peace disturbance was reported in the 800 block of August Street.
• Peace disturbance reported in the area of South Union Avenue and West Jefferson Street.
• Trespassing was reported in the 300 block of East Washington Street.
• Trespassing as reported in the 800 block of West Main Street.
