Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Aris S. Gaskin, 19, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing, forgery and making a false report.
  • Bretton E Pikey, 29, of 1104 W. Mount Drive, Apt. 109, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau probation and parole warrant for probation violation.
  • Joshua C. McCanless, 30, of 204 N. West End Blvd., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • Taimysha Wilburn, 32, of Jonesboro, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
  • A 10-year-old boy was in custody on suspicion of assault.
  • A 15-year-old boy was in custody on suspicion of a peace disturbance and assault.
  • A suspect was in custody pending charges for domestic assault and resisting arrest.
  • A suspect was in custody pending charges of domestic assault.
  • A suspect was in custody pending charges of assault of a law enforcement officer.
  • A suspect was in custody pending charges of assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and driving with a revoked license.
  • A 12-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing.
  • Sean K. Poole, 22, of 137 Spanish St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and resisting arrest.
  • Morgan S. Hubbard, 21, of 601 N. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Ste. Genevieve County warrant for failure to appear for speeding.
  • Andrew J. O'Neal, 23, of 45 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
  • Jamie A. Steel, 37, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, trespassing, possession of a controlled substance and driving with a revoked license.
  • Eric E. Stinson, 28, of Carterville, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of passing bad checks.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A 15-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court as a runaway juvenile.

Summonses

  • Nicole M. Guth, of 709 S. Ellis St., received a summons for driving with a revoked license, following too closely and a booster-seat violation after an accident at Independence Street and Kingshighway. Ernst K. Warren, of 611 Lafayette Place, received a summons for no proof of insurance after the same accident.
  • Edwin Allen Claar, 61, of 1217 N. West End Blvd., received a summons for a dead tree.
  • Michael S. Hellman, 52, of 421 Broadway, received a summons for truck parking regulations.
  • Louis N. Snider, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., received a summons for failure to yield in a motor vehicle accident.
  • Lisa D. Boyce, of 1927 Briarwood Dr., received a summons for failure to yield in a motor vehicle accident.
  • Samuel D. McDaniel, 18, of 301 Louis St., received a summons for a noise violation.
  • Benjamin A. Fleming, of 1847 Ricardo Dr., received a summons for failure to yield in a motor vehicle accident.
  • Dawn L. Sparkman, of Chaffee, Mo., received a summons for failure to yield in a motor vehicle accident.
  • Mario P. Cruz, 23, of 225 S. Lorimier St., received a summons for careless and imprudent driving, driving without a license and driving without insurance.

Thefts

  • A vacuum cleaner was reported stolen from 930 Jefferson Ave.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
  • Kidds Gas and Convenience Store, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
  • A laptop computer and its case, a camera and a window guard were reported stolen from 2616 Leroy Drive.
  • A laptop computer was reported stolen from 1220 S. West End Blvd.
  • An iPod, its case and a car speaker were reported stolen from 1354 Karen Drive.
  • A refrigerator was reported stolen from 622 Jefferson Ave.
  • Cingular Wireless, 1131 N. Kingshighway, reported a cellular phone stolen.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.
  • J.C. Penney, 200 West Park Mall, reported a theft.

Burglary

  • A television and a microwave were reported stolen at 530 Emerald St.

Property damage

  • Damage to a vehicle was reported at 1424 William St.
  • Property damage was reported at 1204 Fairlane Drive.

  • Child abuse was reported.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported at 111 N. Kingshighway.
  • Phone harassment was reported.
  • Trespassing was reported at 850 Alta Vista Drive.

Jackson

Summonses

  • Stephen M. Mantz, 53, of 209 Elm St., received a summons for failure to register a vehicle.
  • Rosemary Cooper, 61, of 246 Pioneer Orchard Road, received a summons for failure to maintain insurance in a motor vehicle accident.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.
  • A disturbance was reported in the area of West Adams Street.
  • A disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Oak Hill Road.
