The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Travis D. Ray, 22, 515 Second St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • A 16-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of trespassing.
  • Melissa L. Holmes, of Granite City, Ill., was arrested in St. Louis County on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for driving while intoxicated, failure to appear for driving on the right side of the roadway and failure to appear for careless and imprudent driving.
  • Christopher S. Pounds, 30, was arrested on a Mississippi County warrant for failure to appear for property damage.

Summonses

  • Kendra L. Harris, 30, 420 E. Cape Rock Drive, received a summons for failure to maintain a property free of weeds and litter.
  • Robert C. Bridge, 48, of Salina, Kan., received a summons for failure to maintain weeds and trash at 2407 Brookwood Drive.
  • Brandon L. Kosky, 24, 414 Independence St., received a summons for failure to maintain a property free of litter.
  • Jacob A. White, 22, 1543 Bunker Hill Drive, received a summons for prohibited acts, restricted lamps on vehicle.
  • Scott C. Myers, 23, of 8 N. Henderson Ave., received summons for failure to maintain a property free of trash.
  • Terry L. Tobin, 60, of Leopold, Mo., received a summons for high weeds and a nuisance brush pile at 1958 Grandview Drive.

Theft

  • An iPod and a cellular telephone were reported stolen at 101 S. Pacific St.
  • A key and a radar detector were reported stolen at 43 S. Henderson Ave.
  • A license plate was reported stolen at 132 Garnet Lane.
  • Sunglasses and a baseball cap were reported stolen at 1700 Bloomfield St.
  • Tractor Supply Co., 501 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of an adapter, valves and surge protectors.
  • Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A GPS Nuvi, binoculars, tools and a toolbox were reported stolen at 3002 Melrose Ave.
  • Cash was reported stolen at 2417 Camel Back Road. A vehicle window was reported broken.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported at 501 S. Middle St. Cleaning supplies were reported stolen.
  • A burglary was reported at 1114 W. Mount Drive. A television and Nintendo Wii were reported stolen and a door and lock were reported damaged.
  • A burglary was reported at 1202 S. Ellis St., rear. An air conditioner and radiator heater was reported stolen.
  • The Judevine Center for Autism, 107 S. Broadview St., reported the theft of an air conditioner.
  • Missouri Barge Line, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.

Property damage

  • A vehicle window was reported broken at 540 S. Pacific St.
  • United Auto Sales, 1105 Independence St., reported damaged vehicles.

Miscellaneous

  • A 54 year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • Two 18-year-old men were placed in protective custody.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Justin E. King, 24, of 1207 E. Main St., Apt. 17, was arrested on suspicion of and given a summons for driving while intoxicated (drugs), improper lane usage, improper turn, operating a vehicle without a valid license and no seat belt.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 300 block of South Missouri Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.
