Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A subject is in custody pending charges for domestic assault.

* Cortez L. Jones, 20, 401 Park Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for suspended operator's license and failure to appear for probation revocation.

* A subject is in custody pending charges for stealing and tampering with a motor vehicle.

* Daniel S. Reid, 31, 1927 N. Kingshighway, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for domestic assault, forcible rape, sodomy and felonious restraint.

Summons

* Leonard Mcadory Jr., 34, 623 Jefferson Ave., was issued a summons for soliciting on public property.

Assault

* An assault was reported. Zuvonda L. Richardson, 22, 410 Themis St., Apt. B, was arrested in connection with the incident.

* A domestic assault was reported. A subject is in custody pending charges in connection with the incident.

Thefts

* Cash, credit cards and phone were reported stolen.

* United Auto, 1105 Independence St., reported the theft of a Sony CD player.

* A watch was reported stolen at 1706 Northwoods Court.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 107 N. Main St.

* A wallet was reported at 1942 Delwin St.

Property damage

* Damage to headstones was reported at New Lormier Cemetery, 835 Caruthers Ave.

* Carol's Hallmark, 2112 William St., No. 102, reported property damage.

* A vehicle window was reported damaged at 124 S. Lormier St.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* Heather L. Mattox, 29, of Farmington, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended.

* Jennifer C. Ward, 30, 305 N. Farmington Road, was arrested on suspicion of failure to drive on right half of roadway, failure to register motor vehicle, failure to show proof of insurance and driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Sean T. Moyers, 30, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and a failure-to-appear warrant.

* Billy R. Chambers, 30, of Shawneetown was arrested on suspicion of fraudulent use of credit device and theft of credit device.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

* A theft was reported in the 800 block of North Farmington Road.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 500 block of Charlotte Court.

* Property damage was reported in the area of West Mary Street and North Union Avenue.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of North High Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 600 block of West Adams Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 1400 block of East Main Street.

Southeast Missouri State University

The Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety released the following items.

Theft

* A purse was reported stolen on the sidewalk on the east side of the Art Building.
