The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • A suspect is in custody pending charges for driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving, speeding and failure to yield.

Arrests

  • Kenneth R. Scaggs, 48, 2613 Perryville Road, Apt. 9, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
  • Krystal M. Enderle, 19, Scott City was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
  • Thomas J. Easley, 21, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for assault.
  • Tynesha T. McDonald, 25, of Joliet, Ill., was arrested on an Illinois warrant for obstructing justice and destroying evidence.
  • Lavar Martin, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

Summons

  • Jonathan L. Jenkins, 29, 329 S. Sprigg St., was issued a summons for prohibited acts.

  • CDs and radio were reported stolen at 1611 Price Drive.
  • A purse was reported stolen at 2908 La Mesa Drive.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Money and medication were reported stolen at 304 Fourth St.
  • A purse was reported stolen at 3439 William St.

Property damage

n Nail Pro, 336 N. Kingshighway, reported a damaged door frame and stolen money.

  • Centenary Church, Bellevue and Sprigg streets, reported property damage.
  • Trinity Lutheran Church, Themis and Frederick streets, reported damage to a sign.
  • A damaged door was reported at 1950 Longview St.

Miscellaneous

  • A 19-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

  • A theft was reported in the 1200 block of Gloria Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 1900 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Property damage was reported in the Parkview Street area.
