The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Clarence E. Geiger III, 19, 1126 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for assault, property damage and fireworks violation and a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for failure to appear.
  • Koery D. Abraham, 18, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, striking a parked vehicle, leaving the scene, no proof of insurance and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported at 319 Park Drive. A television was reported stolen.

Theft

  • Central air-conditioning units were reported taken and a unit damaged at 314 S. Sprigg St.

Property damage

  • Cape United Auto, 1105 Independence St., reported damage to vehicles.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Summons

  • Charles D. Ayers, 63, 305 Morgan St., was issued a summons for stealing.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard.
  • A theft was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 2300 block of South Farmington Road.
