Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Chistopher A. Messmer, 21, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

  • Ricky N. May, 53, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on Jefferson County and Cape Girardeau County warrants for failure to appear in court. He was also issued summonses for allegedly attempting to flee and giving false statements during the arrest.
  • Andrew Archie, 40, 1017 William St., Cape Girardeau, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear in court.

Summons

  • Rocky Gathright Jr., 21, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for third-degree assault.

Assault

  • A 14-year-old was in custody pending filing of formal charges for assault.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported at 535 Boxwood Drive.

Theft

  • Kidd's, 1325 Broadway, reported the theft of fuel.
  • Amerimart, 1320 W. Cape Rock Drive, reported a theft.
  • A theft was reported at 211 Saint Francis Drive.
  • A theft was reported at 3012 William St.
  • A theft was reported at 635 Perry Avenue.

Property damage

  • Damage was reported at 840 College Street.
  • AT&T reported property damage at 216 S. West End Blvd.
  • Damage was reported at 2512 Horseshoe Ridge.
  • Damage was reported at the Cape Club Complex, 433 S. Sprigg St.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Assault

  • An assault was reported in the 800 block of Clark Street.

Theft

  • A theft was reported in the 700 block of West Adams Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 100 block of Donald Street.

Fraud

  • Fraud was reported in the 100 block of Court Street.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 200 block of North Ohio Street.
  • Property damage was reported in the 700 block of West Jackson Boulevard.
  • Property damage was reported in the area of Parkview Street.
