Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• Meaghan A. Steele, 20, 1000 Towers Circle, No. 203, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

• Marcus T. Morgan, 27, 926 College St., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for stealing.
• Kimberly M. Howard, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for no insurance and no rear lights.
• Michael R. Clark, 47, 1433 Good Hope St., and Joseph W. Sitzes, 34, 1433 Good Hope St., were arrested on suspicion of assault.
• Zachary R. Bone, 21, 727 N. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for no insurance and no rear lights.

Thefts

• Money, a checkbook and various identification items were reported stolen at 231 S. Hanover St.
• A wallet was reported stolen at 211 Saint Francis Drive.
• A door key and Social Security card were reported stolen at 1005 Linden St.

Property damage

• An apartment window was reported damaged at 921 Hackberry St.
• Property damage and burglary were reported at 1015 Ranney Ave.

Miscellaneous

• A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of resisting arrest.
• Child molestation was reported.
• A 53-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
• A 48-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
• Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported trespassing.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Theft

• A theft was reported in the 700 block of West Adams Street.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported in the 200 block of North Ohio Street.

• Catherine M. Buchanan, 26, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for failure to pay fines.
• Brandon M. Sitzes, 20, of St. Louis was arrested on a probation violation for supplying liquor to a minor.
• Shaun C. Weaver, 26, of Jackson was arrested on a Scott County warrant for traffic offense.
• Jamie Plouffe, 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.
• Becky Crowden-Burke, 41, of Delta was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
• Kristi L. Finney, 31, of Smithville, Texas, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for two counts of forgery.
• Tyler P. Hawn, 43, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for stealing by deceit.
• Crystal S. Gibson, 37, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to return to confinement.
