Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWIs
- Lonnie L. Brockmire, 59, 104 N. Sunset Boulevard, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
- A subject was in custody pending charges for driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked, failure to equip vehicle with ignition lock and careless and imprudent driving.
Arrests
- Terry L. Gerlach, 50, 405 Chaika Lane, was arrested on Butler, New Madrid and Cape Girardeau County warrants for fraud and a Bollinger County warrant for failure to appear.
- Matthew M. Mertens, 22, of St. Louis was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for driving while intoxicated, suspended operator's license and careless and imprudent driving.
- Gary A. Ferguson, 49, 2067 Pear Tree Court, No. 3, was arrested on suspicion of assault on a law enforcement officer.
- David A. McClanahan, 23, 701 N. Spanish St., was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.
- Jennifer A. Evitts, 34, 214 N. Louisiana Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine for no operator's license.
- David G. Farris II, 21, 217 N. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to pay fine for false declaration and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for receiving stolen property.
- A 16-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court for making a false report.
- a 15-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court for assault.
Assault
- A domestic assault was reported.
Thefts
- Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.
- A Missouri license plate was reported stolen at 1431 N. Clark Ave.
- A television, DVD player and stereo were reported stolen at 535 Boxwood Drive.
- Money was reported stolen at 719 William St.
- Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg st., reported a theft of fuel.
- A theft was reported at 1000 South Silver Springs Road.

- James L. Ruble, 44, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on right half of roadway.
- Jesse W. Haertling, 20, of Frohna, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended, driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on right half of roadway and possession of liquor by minor.

- Geneva Y. Madden, 41, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of assault, stealing and property damage.
- Bruce S. Betts, 35, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.
- Russell M. Phiffer, 35, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
- Gregory A. Marcus, 32, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
- Christin R. Beard, 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for four counts of distribution of controlled substance.
- Michale S. Stacy, 19, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of being a minor visibly intoxicated and possession of liquor by a minor.
- Robert C. Ramsey, 25, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.
- Angela D. Richards, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for stealing and assault.
- Brendon W. Max, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for possession of methamphetamine.
- Robert C. Graff, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear for receiving stolen property.
