Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A subject was in custody pending formal charges for unlawful use of a weapon.
• Charles Johnson, 40, 1111 Cape Hills Drive, Apt. 2, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for driving while intoxicated.
• Derek Wayne Horstmeyer, 23, 504 S. Frederick St., was arrested on a Scotland County, Mo., warrant for nonsupport.
• A subject was in custody pending formal charges for assault.

Summons

• Jeffrey J. Sides, 47, 906 S. Benton St., was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of litter.

Thefts

• A cell phone was reported stolen at 1000 Silver Springs Road.
• A car window was reported broken and an iPod, speaker, amplifier and radio were reported stolen at 600 S. Kingshighway.
• A sunglasses case and money were reported stolen at 478 Siemers Drive.
• Kidds, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of fuel.
• Money was reported stolen at 716 S. Ellis St.
• Five bicycles were reported stolen at 1218 William St.

Assaults

• Two domestic assaults were reported.

Miscellaneous

• Child abuse was reported.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported in the 700 block of Wedge Lane.
• Property damage was reported in the 1100 block of K Land Drive.
• Property damage was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Burglary

• A burglary was reported in the 600 block of West Washington Street.

Theft

• A theft was reported in the 500 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

• A request to keep the peace was reported in the 200 block of North Farmington Road.
• A request to keep the peace was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.
• A domestic dispute was reported in the 700 block of West Jackson Boulevard.
