The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Charles A. White, 48, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of assault and failure to drive on rthe ight half of the roadway.
  • Christopher W. Heberlie, 32, of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Valeria A. Howard, 32, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.
  • Five juveniles were cited into juvenile court for fighting.
  • Tonya D. Dent, 33, 235 Lorimier St., No. 5, was arrested on a Ballard County, Ky., warrant for probation violation.
  • Larry J. Robinson, 47, of Sikeston was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for no proof of insurance.
  • Eric A. Peet, 28, of Jackson was arrested on a warrant for parole violation.

Thefts

  • Hollister, West Park Mall, reported a theft. Angela R. McCoy, 33, of Malden, Mo., was arrested in connection with the incident.
  • Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported a theft. Kevin J. Hauer, 20, 550 S. Hanover st., was issued a summons for stealing.
  • A stove, fridge, deep freeze and medical supplies were reported stolen at 522 S. Ellis St.

Property damage

  • A door was reported damaged at 123 N. Clark Ave.
  • Property damage was reported at 2818 Whitener St. Miranda E. Baker, 21, 2609 Quince St., was issued a summons for property damage.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Theft

  • A theft was reported in the 100 block of West Main Street.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 500 block of Harrison Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • Fraud was reported in the 1300 block of Brandom Street.
