Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Anthony A. Howard, 27, 420 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to return to confinement.
  • Jimmy D. Reed, 23, address unknown, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for possession of marijuana.
  • Paul A. McGuire, 21, 1552 Lexington Ave., and Daniel B. Hazelwood, 25, 904 Themis St., Apt. B, were arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • A 16-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court for being a runaway.

Burglary

  • A second-degree burglary was reported at 1400 S. West End Blvd. Prescription medications were reported stolen in the incident

Thefts

  • An Xbox, games, controllers, robe and CD were reported stolen at 445 Spring Ave.
  • Identity theft was reported.
  • El Durango, 3049 William St., reported a theft of food.
  • Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway, reported failure to return rental property.

Assaults

  • An assault was reported.
  • Third-degree domestic assault was reported.
  • A domestic assault was reported.
  • Child abuse was reported.

Property damage

  • A window was reported broken at 629 Broadway.

Miscellaneous

  • Forgery was reported at 2001 William St.
  • Knowingly burning/exploding was reported.
  • Endangering child welfare was reported.
  • A 41-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • A 51-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
  • Harassment was reported.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Assault

  • An assault was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.

Theft

  • A theft was reported in the 1900 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 2200 block of Watson Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • Fraud was reported in the 4500 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 500 block of Ann Street.

Cape Girardeau County

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Office released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

  • Michael L. Allen, 27, of St. Louis was arrested on a Perry County warrant for rape and forcible sodomy.
  • Emmanuel Ware, 28, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation, driving with a suspended license.
  • Tammy D. Peeler, 28, of Oran, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for driving while revoked.
  • Brian L. Johnson, 28, of St. Louis was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for nonsupport.
  • Joshua A. Gaspard, 19, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
  • Kerry L. Walker, 18, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for second-degree domestic assault.
  • Jacob A. Yarbrough, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for first-degree assault.
