The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Trey C. Miller, 18, 3418 Glenview Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay a fine for violating a steady signal.
• A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of obstructing government process.
• A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of domestic assault.

Summonses

• Becky S. Antonellis, no age given, of St. Mary, Mo., received a summons for following too closely in connection with a motor vehicle accident.
• Su Z. Qiun, no age given, 209 N. Park, received a summons for failure to yield to traffic in connection with a motor vehicle accident.
• Patti M. Hornbeck, no age given, of Marble Hill, Mo., received a summons for failure to yield after stopping in connection with a motor vehicle accident.

Thefts

• Shell D-Mart, 3415 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.
• A pistol was reported stolen at Sprigg and Linden streets.
• Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device and identity theft were reported.

Property damage

• Valve stems on a tire were reported damaged at 3065 William St.
• The tail gate of a truck was reported damaged at 1000 South Silver Springs Road.
• A storage unit was reported damaged at 626 Broadway.

Miscellaneous

• Trespassing was reported.
• A 61-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
• A request to assist another agency was reported.
