The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving and endangering the welfare of a child.

Arrests

* Two boys, ages 13 and 15, were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of theft and possession of intoxicants.

* Three girls, ages 14 and 15, were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of tampering.

* Joshua R. Diggs, 29, of Delta was arrested on suspicion of fraudulent use of a credit device.

* Nathan T. Oxly, 26, 6332 U.S. 61, Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of stealing and two counts of assault.

* Ryan L. Sterling, 24, 605 Bellevue St., was arrested on suspicion of prohibited acts, noise violation, and possession of marijuana.

* Christy L. Clasby, 33, 957 W. Independence St., Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to pay fine for no proof of insurance and a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear in court for trial.

Summonses

* Betty J. Williamson, 77, 1305 Victoria Drive, received a summons for a leash-law violation.

Burglary

* A burglary and the theft of a television were reported at 2819 Whitener St.

Thefts

* A purse was reported stolen at 11 S. Kingshighway.

* A computer and case were reported stolen at 433 Siemers Drive.

* A 2000 Jaguar was reported stolen at 1327 Howell St.

* Walmart, 3439 William St., reported a theft. A 16-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court, and Harvey D. Brown Jr., 18, 1010 Sturdivant St., was issued a summons in connection with the complaint.

* Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of cosmetics.

* Rhodes, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.

* Shell D-Mart, 3415 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.

Miscellaneous

* A subject was placed in protective custody.

* Kayla M. Lawrence, 18, address not given, was arrested on suspicion of property damage.
