Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Keithland M. Welch, 26, of Tamms, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* Amanda J. Gilmore, 29, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* April R. Bennett, 30, 1028 N. Cape Rock Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.

* Jerry L. Sisco, 50, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on a Ste. Genevieve, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Charles F. Daley, 39, 2762 Chrysler Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for peace disturbance.

* A subject was taken into custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest and assault on law enforcement officers.

* A subject was taken into custody pending formal charges of property damage.

* A subject was taken into custody pending formal charges of concealing contraband in the city jail.

* A subject was taken into custody pending formal charges of stealing and false declaration.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 514 S. Middle St.

Thefts

* Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive, reported a theft of perfume and clothing. Kristin N. McCann of Perryville, Mo., received a summons in connection with the complaint.

* Sunny Hill Garden Center, 206 N. Kingshighway, reported the theft of a flatbed trailer.

* Walmart, 3439 William St., reported a theft of video games and batteries.

* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.

* Walmart, 3439 William St., reported a theft of electronics and jewelry. Antione Z. Austin, 17, of Jackson, and Austin P. Sander, 17, and Shelby L. Smith, 18, both of Millersville, were arrested in connection with the complaint.

Miscellaneous

* A natural death was reported.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

* Kyle Creely, 21, 1220 E. Main St., was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

* A court order violation was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.
