DWIs

* Wesley D. Higginbotham Jr., 48, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to drive within a single lane and no insurance.

* Lauren E. Hawkins, 24, 1611 Scivally Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Lena M. Hays, 42, 1808 Greenbrier Drive, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault.

* Konstantinos N. Demopoulos, 50, 1034 Broadway, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for child abuse.

* Mikel D. Robinson, 21, 510 S. Middle St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* Stanford D. Stucker, 31, 620 Boxwood Drive, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.

Summonses

* James N. Lichtenegger, 60, of Belleville, Ill., received a summons for failure to keep property free of litter.

* Teresa A. Wren, 49, 1100 S. Sprigg St., received a summons for peace disturbance.

* A burglary and theft of a laptop were reported at 808 S. Ellis St.

* A burglary was reported at 1532 Kingsbury Drive.

* A burglary was reported at 2806 Independence St. A computer, DVD player, cell phone and piggy bank were reported stolen.

Robbery

* AM PM, 1101 William reported cash taken from the register drawer.

Thefts

* Walmart, 3439 William St. reported a theft of jewelry. Dalton W. Burns, 17, 1611 Good Hope St., and Aaron L. Glueck, 17, 209 Barberry St. were arrested in connection with the complaint.

* Cape Girardeau Public Schools, 61 N. Clark Ave. reported a stolen 16-foot trailer.

* A theft and felonious restraint were reported at 320 N. Kingshighway.

* A vehicle was reported stolen at 2849 Themis St.

* Dollar General, 724 Broadway, reported a theft of personal care items. Candace B. Palermo, 29, 333 N. Frederick St., and Cory D. Silvers, 29, 333 N. Frederick St., No. 206, were arrested in connection with the complaint.

* Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported stolen gasoline.

* Medication was reported stolen at 1072 Linden St.

* Walmart reported a theft of clothing. Derek M. Jones,18, and Lynn M. Demaris, 17, both of Wappapello, Mo., were arrested in connection with the complaint.
