The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Benjamin K. Ashauer, 26, 902 Jefferson Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.

* Jonathan D. Pierce, 32, 1052 Stewart Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* Douglas D. Benton, 38, 3806 Valley View Lane, was arrested on suspicion of assault and interfering with arrest.

* Darcell C. Moore, 22, 417 S. Benton St., was arrested on 13 Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.

* Two juvenile girls were taken into custody in connection with a theft.

Assault

* A domestic assault was reported.

Burglary

* A burglary and theft of medication were reported at 1107 Merriweather St.

Thefts

* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.

* License plates were reported stolen at 3439 William St.

* A window was reported damaged at 807 N. Sprigg St.

Miscellaneous

* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported counterfeiting.

* An unattended death was reported.

* Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.

* A 54-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 46-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Josh K. Rehkop, 25, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 1800 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

* A check the welfare was requested in the 300 block of East Lane.

* Harrassment was reported in the 1300 block of Brandom Street.
