Cape Girardeau

Arrests
- A 16-year-old was cited into juvenile court for assault.
- Elic L. Payne Jr., 20, of Carbondale, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for resisting arrest.
- Michael L. Pratcher, 41, 1400 Perryville Road, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for bad checks.
- Two 11-year-old girls were cited into juvenile court for peace disturbance by fighting.
Assaults
Thefts
- Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported a theft of miscellaneous items. Gregory R. King, 22, 1230 W. Cape Rock Drive, was arrested in connection with the incident.
Miscellaneous
- Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway, reported counterfeiting.
- Identity theft was reported.
- A 41-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
- A 53-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
- A 25-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
- Identity theft was reported.

- Steven J. Thomas, 28, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
- Charles R. Derrick, 28, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
- James E. Britton, 39, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
- Justin J. Gillepsie, 26, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
- Carolyn L. Jenkins, 35, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Poplar Bluff, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for no trash service.
- Lola C. Stone, 39, of Millersville was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon, assault and domestic assault.
- Gary J. Wheeler, 37, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of endangering the welfare of child, resisting arrest and domestic assault.
