Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended and leaving the scene of an accident.

Arrests

* A 16-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court for being beyond parental control.

* A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges for property damage.

Property damage

* A vehicle was reported keyed at Capaha trail.

Thefts

* J.C. Penney, 200 West Park Mall, reported a theft. Shenelle M. Anderson, 18, and Sha'mara N. Lilly, 18, both of Mounds, Ill., were arrested in connection with the complaint.

* A cell phone was reported stolen at 1625 N. Kingshighway.

* Checks were reported stolen at South Louisiana and Cousin streets.

* A gray 2003 Pontiac Grand Am and money were reported stolen at 45 S. West End Blvd.

* Medications was reported stolen at 1918 Sherwood Drive.

Miscellaneous

* A 29-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* Domestic assault was reported.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

* Fraud was reported in the 900 block of Trail Ridge Drive.

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South High Street.
