DWI

* Howard S. Akins, 48, 21112 Highway 177, Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and unlawful use of a weapon.

Arrests

* Rance A. Leistler, 22, of Waterloo, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of tampering.

* Max A. Nutt, 18, of Chatham, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

* August G. Jones, 33, 841 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* Brett M. LaMont, 20, 2027 Woodlawn Ave., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and possession of a controlled substance.

* A subject was in custody pending charges of stealing and false declaration.

* A 14-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing.

* A subject was in custody pending charges of resisting or interfering with an arrest.

* Jaron L. Clark, 17, 1837 Route U, was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

* Robert K. Scott, 46, 426 North St., was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.

* Darcus T. Purl, 37, 301 Mill St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for forgery.

Assaults

* An assault was reported.

Thefts

* A microwave, movies and a George Foreman grill were reported stolen at 912 Perry Ave.
