  • Charles D. Worley, 39, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of two assaults.
  • Danny W. Schuff, 38, 239 N. Middle St., was arrested on suspicion of fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance.
  • Elisco Vera-Juarez, 23, of Bolling­brook, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of failure to signal and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
  • Two boys were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing.
  • Terry P. Starnes Jr., 27, 124 N. Henderson Ave., Apt. 2, was arrested on a Clay County warrant for failure to appear for passing bad checks.
  • Teresa L. Rivers, 28, 537 N. Sprigg St., Apt. C, was arrested on a Poplar Bluff, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for a nonmoving violation and a Butler County warrant for failure to appear for a probation violation for driving while suspended.
  • Amy N. Chambers, 26, 19 S. Pacific St., and Michelle A. Dixon, 29, 1927 N. Kingshighway, were arrested on suspicion of peace disturbance.
  • Rhonda S. Quintana, 38, 1119 Good Hope St., was arrested by the Cape Girardeau Sheriff's Department on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for a sewer bill and failure to pay a fine for a suspended driver's license.
  • Nathan M. Hutcheson, 41, Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Dunklin County warrant for probation violation for controlled substance.
  • Harold U. Sanders, 22, 520 N. Fountain St., was arrested on a probation and parole warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Assault

  • Statutory sodomy was reported.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported at 906 N. Clark Ave. A credit card and cash were reported stolen during the break-in.

Thefts

  • A debit card was reported stolen at 1108 William St.
  • A purse was reported stolen at 2134 Independence St.
  • Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway, reported a failure to return rental property.
  • Quik & Save, 2861 Themis St., reported a theft of an Xbox 360 and cash.
  • A saxophone was reported stolen at 205 Caruthers Ave.
  • Rhodes 101, 10 N. West End Blvd., reported two instances of theft of gasoline.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported two instances of theft of gasoline.
  • Bi-State, 920 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Amerimart, 1320 W. Cape Rock Drive, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • An 2004 beige Lincoln Town Car was reported stolen at 1201 Good Hope St.
  • A forgery was reported.

Property damage

  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 1150 New Madrid St.
