Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Derick Bramlett, no age given, 610 Lafayette Place, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a seat belt violation.
• Randy Noce, no age given, 905 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on suspicion of an open container violation.

Assaults

• Domestic assault and property damage were reported. A person is in custody in connection with the incident pending filing of formal charges.

Thefts

• Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway, reported the theft of alcohol.
• Main Street Bar, 701 N. Main St., reported the theft of a metal detector.

Property damage

• A glass storm door was reported damaged at 708 S. Benton St.
• Vehicle tires were reported damaged at 501 S. Hanover St.

Miscellaneous

• A person was taken into protective custody in the 100 block of Main Street.
• A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody for being beyond parental control.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Assaults

• An assault was reported in the 1600 block of West Independence Street.

Thefts

• A theft was reported in the 1200 block of Brandom Street.
• A theft was reported in the 1800 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

• A disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Corinne Street.
