Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Shawn J. Huff, 33, 519 Amethyst St., was arrested on a New Madrid County warrant for failure to appear and a Mississippi County warrant for fail to appear for tampering.
  • Richard A. Moore, 37, 2830 Whitener St., No. 6, was arrested on an Illinois warrant for failure to appear.
  • Gwynda R. Binkard, 40, of St. Louis was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for leaving the scene of an accident and a Dunklin County warrant for failure to appear for nonsupport.

Summons

  • Carl R. Barrett, 56, 1927 N. Kingshighway, No. 34, was issued a summons in connection with property damage.

Thefts

  • ThunderGnome, 716 Broadway, reported a theft of service.
  • Kidd's, 1325 Broadway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A Christmas tree was reported stolen at 1941 David St.
  • Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive, reported a theft of shoes and fragrance spray. Emily M. Schlegel, 18, of 2807 Independence St., No. 11, and Joshua R. Gantt, 21, of Scott City, were arrested in connection with the incident.

Miscellaneous

  • A 37-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

  • Anthony Southall, 28, of Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.

Assault

  • An assault was reported at Toboggan Hill and Cascade Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 800 block of Corinne Street.
  • A domestic dispute was reported at North Hope Street and Greensferry Road.
  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 400 block of Spring View Drive.
