The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Camillia D. Mallett, 22, 1110 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance.
  • Durand A. Richardson, 39, was arrested on suspicion of tampering with a motor vehicle.
  • Steven G. Vitale, 57, 1127 William St., was arrested on suspicion of first-degree trespassing and resisting arrest.
  • Deloise K. Jackson 27, 9413 Westwood Ave., Little Rock, Ark., was arrested on suspicion of first-degree tampering, possession of a controlled substance and driving without a valid license.
  • Stephen M. Mantz, 53, 309 Elm St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges for domestic assault, burglary and child endangerment.
  • Kelly C. Lenz, 29, 5207 Lakewood Landing, Imperial, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for driving while intoxicated.

Thefts

  • Printers, a modem, game station, DVD video player, iPod, computer keyboard and monitors were reported stolen from 921 Hackberry St.
  • A cell phone was reported stolen from Arena Park.
  • The Hot Spot, 400 Morgan Oak St., reported the theft of gasoline.
  • Pure Ice Co. reported a burglary.

  • Windows at 1927 N. Kingshighway were reported spray-painted.

Jackson

Theft

  • A theft was reported in the 800 block of Eagle Drive.
