The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Norman K. Johnson, 52, of 706 W. Adams, Apt. 1, Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Summons

  • Shelley S. Nunnelee, 28, of Kansas City, Mo., received a summons for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, failure to drive in a single lane and failure to stop for a red light.

Assault

  • An assault was reported at 1624 N. Kingshighway. Bradley E. Eyler, 19, of 2971 Beavercreek Drive received a summons in connection with the complaint.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported at 200 West Park Mall. Shanea L. Waters, 17, of 65 Green Acres Drive, and Vivian Dixon, 30, of Sikeston, Mo., were arrested in connection with the complaint.
  • Cape Importers, 116 N. Spanish St., reported a theft of doors.
  • Cingular Wireless, 1131 N. Kingshighway, reported the theft of a cellular telephone and memory card.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported five incidents of theft of gasoline.
  • Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A wheel and tire were reported stolen at 728 N. Middle St.
  • A license plate was reported stolen or lost at 3439 William St.

Property damage

  • A door was reported damaged at 1432 Big Bend Road.

Miscellaneous

  • Interference with child custody was reported.
  • Walking in the street was reported at Benton Street and Bloomfield Road.
  • Interference with child custody was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St.
