Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Jason C. Potter, 31, 2759 Hawthorne St., was arrested on a Madison County warrant for contempt of court.
• Yashica L. Nicholson, 34, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
• Mikell D. Smith, 32, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for phone harassment.
• A subject is in custody pending charges for being a felon in possession of a firearm, trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Misty D. Decker, 25, was arrested on a Stoddard County warrant for fraud and a Dunklin County warrant for failure to appear.
• Joseph A. Renicke, 44, of Maplewood, Mo., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.

Thefts

• A BlackBerry was reported stolen at 3363 Gordonville Road.
• Electronic equipment was reported stolen at 3012 Kage Road.
• Medication was reported stolen at 3439 William St.
• A wedding ring was reported stolen at 2001 N. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

• A 53-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
