Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A 16-year-old boy was in custody pending filing of formal charges of unlawful use of a weapon.

* A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges of possession of a vehicle with the vehicle identification number plate removed and failure to register a motor vehicle.

Assault

* A domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* A cell phone was reported stolen at 1527 Hill St.

* A laptop computer was reported stolen at 105 Clark Ave.

* Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported two incidents of theft of gasoline.

* Cash was reported stolen at 2229 Kent Drive.

* Cash was reported stolen at 2533 Tulip Lane.

* License plates were reported stolen at 1114 Jefferson Ave.

* The Humane Society, 1120 N. Kingshighway, reported the theft of a donation jar. A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges in connection with the complaint.

* A scooter was reported stolen at 1108 Harmony St.

Property damage

* The rear window of a vehicle was reported damaged at 1601 N. Main St.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported at 1000 S. Silver Springs Road. Jernandez J. Moore, 17, 1942 Rampart St., received a summons in connection with the complaint.

* Harassment was reported.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Miscellaneous

* Harassment was reported in the 2100 block of Bainbridge Road.

* Harassment was reported in the 600 block of East Adams Street.

* Harassment was reported in the 900 block of Greensferry Road.
