Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* Lindsey K. Pender, no age given, 1217 College St., was arrested on suspicion of failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, resisting arrest and speeding.
* Tommy L. Peterson Jr., 23, 1425 Whitener St., was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
* Jason L. Harkey, 28, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for revoked operator's license and failure to appear for speeding.
* Heather J. Newman, 36, 921 William St., No. 2, was arrested on a Brown County Ohio warrant for drug trafficking.
* Maximilian E. Smith, 23, 45 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for third-degree domestic assault, a Mississippi County warrant for failure to appear for drug trafficking and a Brown County Ohio warrant for drug trafficking.
Summonses
* Angela D. Jones, 33, 45 S. West End Blvd., Apt. 212, and Jennifer L. Morgan, 28, 1112 Bloomfield St., received summonses for indecent exposure.
* Gerald N. Stott, 67, 2917 Park West Heights Drive, received a summons for failure to maintain property.
* Don D. Goertz, 27, 37 S. Benton St., received a summons for a leash-law violation.
* Andrew R. Hudson, 31, 502 Albert St. received a summons for animal neglect and no city animal license.
* Robert P. Blank, 71, 430 Julie Drive, received a summons for failure to maintain property.
* Praful R. Desai, 2464 Cheetah Lane, received a summons for failure to yield.
Assault
* An assault was reported.
* A domestic assault was reported.
* Child abuse was reported.
Theft
* Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of clothing, cosmetics and toys. Katie L. Edwards, 22, and Angel K. Reid, 17, both of Chaffee, Mo., were arrested and a 13-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court in connection with the complaint.
Miscellaneous
* Possession of marijuana and unlawful use of a weapon were reported.
* A 32-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
* Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of South Union Avenue.
* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1400 block of Parkwood Circle.
