The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests Tonya D. Dent, 28, of 101 Elmwood, Cairo, Ill., was arrested Thursday on suspicion of forgery.

Christopher J. Hager, 18, of 621 S. Ellis, No. 3, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of sexual assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

A suspect was taken into custody Thursday at the 800 block of William pending the filing of formal charges for possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia, improper registration and no insurance.

Anthony A. Milam, 43, of 285 Perryville Road, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, failure to signal and no insurance.

Summonses

Tekesha D. Cleaves of 909 Hackberry, No. 209, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Thursday for assault.

Kasondra A. Owens of 508 Cape Meadows, No. 34, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Thursday for assault.

The following individuals received summonses Thursday for possession of alcohol by a minor at Southeast Missouri State University: Travis L. Benfield, 18, of Glenallen, Mo.; Benjamin J. James, 17, Hiram, Mo.; and Scott A. Crader, 17, of Marble Hill, Mo. A 16-year-old male was cited to juvenile court in connection with the incident.

Thefts

Jewelry was reported stolen Thursday in a burglary at 339 N. Park.

Jewelry was reported stolen Thursday at 410 Themis.

Fred's reported stealing Thursday at 621 S. Ellis. A 13-year-old male was cited to juvenile court in connection with the complaint.

Gasoline was reported stolen Thursday by Hucks at 353 S. Kingshighway.

Gasoline was reported stolen Friday by Don's Store 24 at 341 S. Sprigg.

Checks were reported stolen Friday at 1502 Scott.

A 1987 Chevrolet with Missouri license plate bearing R04735 was reported stolen Friday at the 200 block of Albert.

Tampering with a motor vehicle was reported Friday at the 1200 block of Jefferson.

Sunglasses, binoculars and CDs were reported stolen Friday at 2525 Masters.

A TV, shoes, cables, a keyboard and an apartment-sized refrigerator were reported stolen Thursday at Southeast Missouri State University.
